Scorpions is a German rock band formed in 1965 in Hannover. The band is known for their classic hard rock and lyrical guitar ballads. They are the most popular rock band in Germany and have sold over 100 million copies of their albums worldwide. The band is currently on their Crazy World Tour. The founders of the band were influenced by their musician parents and started playing music at a young age. Rudolf and Michael, the founding members, learned to play guitar and other instruments on their own.
